Catalog: CNVFP-TARBP2-20500
Classification: Copy Number Variation
Description: Our Gene-specific Copy Number Variation Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (TARBP2). The product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We provide CNV FISH Probes with a variety of dye color combinations to meet various challenges. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations but also provide customized probe services.
Application: TARBP2 Gene-specific copy number variation probes are mainly used to detect the copy number variation related to TARBP2 genes. This product achieves the purpose of detection by hybridizing with the TARBP2 gene. Due to this design method, our probe products can detect the amplification and deletion of target genes on chromosomes through FISH.

Gene Details

Gene Name TARBP2, RISC Loading Complex RNA Binding Subunit
Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] HIV-1, the causative agent of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), contains an RNA genome that produces a chromosomally integrated DNA during the replicative cycle. Activation of HIV-1 gene expression by the transactivator Tat is dependent on an RNA regulatory element (TAR) located downstream of the transcription initiation site. The protein encoded by this gene binds between the bulge and the loop of the HIV-1 TAR RNA regulatory element and activates HIV-1 gene expression in synergy with the viral Tat protein. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. This gene also has a pseudogene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Gene Symbol TARBP2
Location 12q13.13
Chromosome Chromosome12
Coordinates This gene maps to 53894704-53900215 in GRCh37 coordinates.
Species Human
