Neurodegenerative Diseases
Creative Bioarray has developed a visualization solution for molecular analysis of neurodegenerative and psychiatric diseases. The analysis targets cover the reported popular targets, signal pathways, and epigenetic modifications. The visualization solution of our molecular detection platform is based on site-specific probes and has the ability to design probe customized solutions. The analysis services of animal models and human donated samples are individually adjusted according to our internal optimized plan. The comprehensive analysis method includes the possibility of analyzing the protein level of the coding sequence (IHC service is optional).
Neurodegenerative Diseases or Mental Illness
Neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease (AD), Lewy body disease (LBD), and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and frontotemporal dementia (ALS-FTD) lineages are defined by the accumulation of specific misfolded protein aggregates. Psychiatric disorders are complex, multifactorial diseases that involve chronic changes in the structure and function of neural circuits and possible abnormalities of glial cells. The characteristics of pan-neurodegenerative genes that have been summarized include the up-regulation of innate immunity, cytoskeleton, transcription and RNA processing genes, and the down-regulation of the mitochondrial electron transport chain. In some pathway enrichment analyses, neuroinflammation (including Toll-like receptors, TNF, and NFκB signaling) and up-regulation of phagocytosis were also observed, as well as down-regulation of mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation, lysosomal acidification, and ubiquitin-proteasome pathways. These diseases have many characteristics such as pathological mechanisms and genes. The analysis of gene expression may provide more information on how to discover disease-related pathways, pathological mechanisms, biomarkers, and potential therapeutic targets.

Visual Analysis Services Available for Gene Expression analysis in neurodegenerative and mental diseases
Except for animal models, most of the research on the pathological mechanism of neurodegenerative diseases and mental illness is based on donated samples. With the continuous advancement of molecular analysis technology, researchers' vision has progressed along with the central dogma of molecular biology, and sequencing-based gene expression analysis data has provided many new clues and evidence for pathogenesis. The status of gene expression in donated brain tissue samples has gradually developed from gene positioning to part of global analysis. Our tissue in situ gene expression visualization analysis program can analyze the customer's target of interest in the morphological background, and the target can include non-coding sequences that play a regulatory role. At the same time, this service can also analyze the impact of the apparent modification on phenotype. This service provides some popular panels of neurobiology, and can also be customized for the targets of interest to customers. Many commercial neurobiology in-situ analysis panels have been developed, and customers can add targets of interest to the classic panels.
