Leukemia Typing

Leukemia is cancer of the body's blood-forming tissues, including the bone marrow and lymphatic system. The main types of leukemia include 4 types. They are acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), acute myeloid leukemia (AML), Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL), and Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML). It also includes some atypical types such as hairy cell leukemia, myelodysplastic syndromes and myelodysplastic diseases. In the WHO classification, chromosome translocation is the core of the diagnosis, sub-classification and prognosis of leukemia. Traditional cytogenetics, under certain circumstances FISH, is the gold standard for detecting these chromosomal aberrations. Acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL) is a killer that affects children and adults. The development of ALL includes genetic instability, such as translocations and fusion genes. For decades, people have been studying the correlation between prognosis and cytogenetic abnormalities between adult ALL and childhood ALL.

Leukemia Typing Services

This service is designed to help the study of acute leukemia in carrying out karyotype analysis, chromosome drawing, and analysis of chromosome structural variation, thereby helping researchers determine related leukemia types and discover new potential chromosomal rearrangements. This service is a laboratory research analysis test for non-diagnostic purposes. It can target anatomical samples (bone marrow), blood samples, etc. We provide analysis and testing starting from histology, and our experimental platform can provide corresponding technical support services, including sample fixation and slide production. Our chromosome painting analysis uses whole chromosome painting probes to determine the basic karyotype. Afterwards, the FISH panel of 1 to 5 groups related to leukemia was used for analysis to help researchers further determine the clinical subtypes of the samples. Confirm the translocation indicated by the clinical sub-category or karyotype by using two-color double-fusion or double-color fragment FISH probes. Some classic panels can detect trisomy 4/10 and translocation ETS leukemia-acute myeloid leukemia 1 (TEL-AML1) fusion gene, and can also be used for mixed lineage leukemia (MLL) translocation and Philadelphia (Ph) chromosome analysis. The probes are located at 22q11.2, 9q34, 11q23, 12p13, 21q22 and 4p11.1-q11.1/10p11.1-q11.1, which represent chromosomal abnormalities t(9;22)(q34;qll), 11q23, t (12;21)(p13;q22) and 4/10 trisomy.

Creative Bioarray provides comprehensive FISH analysis services for leukemia typing. This cytogenetic analysis service uses chromosome break apart probes, gene fusion probes, and whole chromosome paint probes for chromosome painting and structural variation analysis. It uses a clinical leukemia typing system to help researchers determine the clinical subtypes of samples. You will benefit from our technical expertise and complete platform, and work with you to find the best solution to meet your needs. If you are interested in our leukemia typing ISH service, please contact us for cooperation. We look forward to cooperating with you in the near future.
