Catalog: CNVFP-SRA1-19945
Classification: Copy Number Variation
Description: Our Gene-specific Copy Number Variation Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (SRA1). The product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We provide CNV FISH Probes with a variety of dye color combinations to meet various challenges. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations but also provide customized probe services.
Application: SRA1 Gene-specific copy number variation probes are mainly used to detect the copy number variation related to SRA1 genes. This product achieves the purpose of detection by hybridizing with the SRA1 gene. Due to this design method, our probe products can detect the amplification and deletion of target genes on chromosomes through FISH.

Gene Details

Gene Name Steroid Receptor RNA Activator 1
Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] Both long non-coding and protein-coding RNAs are transcribed from this gene, and they represent alternatively spliced transcript variants. This gene was initially defined as a non-coding RNA, which is a coactivator for several nuclear receptors (NRs) and is associated with breast cancer. It has now been found that this gene is involved in the regulation of many NR and non-NR activities, including metabolism, adipogenesis and chromatin organization. The long non-coding RNA transcripts interact with a variety of proteins, including the protein encoded by this gene. The encoded protein acts as a transcriptional repressor by binding to the non-coding RNA. [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2012]
Gene Symbol SRA1
Location 5q31.3
Chromosome Chromosome5
Coordinates This gene maps to 139929652-139937678 in GRCh37 coordinates.
Species Human
