Description: |
Our Gene-specific Copy Number Variation Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (SPANXC). The product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We provide CNV FISH Probes with a variety of dye color combinations to meet various challenges. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations but also provide customized probe services. |
Application: |
SPANXC Gene-specific copy number variation probes are mainly used to detect the copy number variation related to SPANXC genes. This product achieves the purpose of detection by hybridizing with the SPANXC gene. Due to this design method, our probe products can detect the amplification and deletion of target genes on chromosomes through FISH. |

Gene Details
Gene Name |
SPANX Family Member C |
Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] |
Temporally regulated transcription and translation of several testis-specific genes is required to initiate the series of molecular and morphological changes in the male germ cell lineage necessary for the formation of mature spermatozoa. This gene is a member of the SPANX family, which is located in a gene cluster on chromosome X. The SPANX genes encode differentially expressed testis-specific proteins that localize to various subcellular compartments. This particular gene encodes a protein that localizes to the nucleus and is expressed in highly metastatic cell lines, making the protein a potential diagnostic and prognostic marker. The protein belongs to a family of cancer/testis antigens and represents a potential target for cancer immunotherapy. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008] |
