Catalog: CNVFP-SNRNP27-19531
Classification: Copy Number Variation
Description: Our Gene-specific Copy Number Variation Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (SNRNP27). The product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We provide CNV FISH Probes with a variety of dye color combinations to meet various challenges. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations but also provide customized probe services.
Application: SNRNP27 Gene-specific copy number variation probes are mainly used to detect the copy number variation related to SNRNP27 genes. This product achieves the purpose of detection by hybridizing with the SNRNP27 gene. Due to this design method, our probe products can detect the amplification and deletion of target genes on chromosomes through FISH.

Gene Details

Gene Name Small Nuclear Ribonucleoprotein U4/U6.U5 Subunit 27
Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] This gene encodes a serine/arginine-rich (SR) protein. SR proteins play important roles in pre-mRNA splicing by facilitating the recognition and selection of splice sites. The encoded protein associates with the 25S U4/U6.U5 tri-snRNP, a major component of the U2-type spiceosome. The expression of this gene may be altered in cells infected with the human T-cell lymphotropic virus type 1 (HTLV-1) retrovirus. A pseudogene of this gene is located on the long arm of chromosome 5. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been observed for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2011]
Gene Symbol SNRNP27
Location 2p13.3
Chromosome Chromosome2
Coordinates This gene maps to 70121074-70132368 in GRCh37 coordinates.
Species Human
