Catalog: CNVFP-SMARCA2-19006
Classification: Copy Number Variation
Description: Our Gene-specific Copy Number Variation Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (SMARCA2). The product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We provide CNV FISH Probes with a variety of dye color combinations to meet various challenges. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations but also provide customized probe services.
Application: SMARCA2 Gene-specific copy number variation probes are mainly used to detect the copy number variation related to SMARCA2 genes. This product achieves the purpose of detection by hybridizing with the SMARCA2 gene. Due to this design method, our probe products can detect the amplification and deletion of target genes on chromosomes through FISH.

Gene Details

Gene Name SWI/SNF Related, Matrix Associated, Actin Dependent Regulator Of Chromatin, Subfamily A, Member 2
Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the SWI/SNF family of proteins and is highly similar to the brahma protein of Drosophila. Members of this family have helicase and ATPase activities and are thought to regulate transcription of certain genes by altering the chromatin structure around those genes. The encoded protein is part of the large ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling complex SNF/SWI, which is required for transcriptional activation of genes normally repressed by chromatin. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene, which contains a trinucleotide repeat (CAG) length polymorphism. [provided by RefSeq, Jan 2014]
Gene Symbol SMARCA2
Location 9p24.3
Chromosome Chromosome9
Coordinates This gene maps to 2015341-2193623 in GRCh37 coordinates.
Species Human
