Catalog: CNVFP-SLAMF6-18665
Classification: Copy Number Variation
Description: Our Gene-specific Copy Number Variation Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (SLAMF6). The product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We provide CNV FISH Probes with a variety of dye color combinations to meet various challenges. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations but also provide customized probe services.
Application: SLAMF6 Gene-specific copy number variation probes are mainly used to detect the copy number variation related to SLAMF6 genes. This product achieves the purpose of detection by hybridizing with the SLAMF6 gene. Due to this design method, our probe products can detect the amplification and deletion of target genes on chromosomes through FISH.

Gene Details

Gene Name SLAM Family Member 6
Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] The protein encoded by this gene is a type I transmembrane protein, belonging to the CD2 subfamily of the immunoglobulin superfamily. This encoded protein is expressed on Natural killer (NK), T, and B lymphocytes. It undergoes tyrosine phosphorylation and associates with the Src homology 2 domain-containing protein (SH2D1A) as well as with SH2 domain-containing phosphatases (SHPs). It functions as a coreceptor in the process of NK cell activation. It can also mediate inhibitory signals in NK cells from X-linked lymphoproliferative patients. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms.[provided by RefSeq, May 2010]
Gene Symbol SLAMF6
Location 1q23.2-q23.3
Chromosome Chromosome1
Coordinates This gene maps to 160454819-160493052 in GRCh37 coordinates.
