Catalog: CNVFP-SERPINI1-18225
Classification: Copy Number Variation
Description: Our Gene-specific Copy Number Variation Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (SERPINI1). The product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We provide CNV FISH Probes with a variety of dye color combinations to meet various challenges. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations but also provide customized probe services.
Application: SERPINI1 Gene-specific copy number variation probes are mainly used to detect the copy number variation related to SERPINI1 genes. This product achieves the purpose of detection by hybridizing with the SERPINI1 gene. Due to this design method, our probe products can detect the amplification and deletion of target genes on chromosomes through FISH.

Gene Details

Gene Name Serpin Family I Member 1
Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] This gene encodes a member of the serpin superfamily of serine proteinase inhibitors. The protein is primarily secreted by axons in the brain, and preferentially reacts with and inhibits tissue-type plasminogen activator. It is thought to play a role in the regulation of axonal growth and the development of synaptic plasticity. Mutations in this gene result in familial encephalopathy with neuroserpin inclusion bodies (FENIB), which is a dominantly inherited form of familial encephalopathy and epilepsy characterized by the accumulation of mutant neuroserpin polymers. Multiple alternatively spliced variants, encoding the same protein, have been identified. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Gene Symbol SERPINI1
Location 3q26.1
Chromosome Chromosome3
Coordinates This gene maps to 167453431-167543357 in GRCh37 coordinates.
Species Human
