Catalog: CNVFP-RNF14-17330
Classification: Copy Number Variation
Description: Our Gene-specific Copy Number Variation Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (RNF14). The product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We provide CNV FISH Probes with a variety of dye color combinations to meet various challenges. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations but also provide customized probe services.
Application: RNF14 Gene-specific copy number variation probes are mainly used to detect the copy number variation related to RNF14 genes. This product achieves the purpose of detection by hybridizing with the RNF14 gene. Due to this design method, our probe products can detect the amplification and deletion of target genes on chromosomes through FISH.

Gene Details

Gene Name Ring Finger Protein 14
Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] The protein encoded by this gene contains a RING zinc finger, a motif known to be involved in protein-protein interactions. This protein interacts with androgen receptor (AR) and may function as a coactivator that induces AR target gene expression in prostate. A dominant negative mutant of this gene has been demonstrated to inhibit the AR-mediated growth of prostate cancer. This protein also interacts with class III ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes (E2s) and may act as a ubiquitin-ligase (E3) in the ubiquitination of certain nuclear proteins. Six alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding two distinct isoforms have been reported. [provided by RefSeq, Jan 2011]
Gene Symbol RNF14
Location 5q31.3
Chromosome Chromosome5
Coordinates This gene maps to 141346401-141369856 in GRCh37 coordinates.
Species Human
