Catalog: CNVFP-RGPD5-17171
Classification: Copy Number Variation
Description: Our Gene-specific Copy Number Variation Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (RGPD5). The product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We provide CNV FISH Probes with a variety of dye color combinations to meet various challenges. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations but also provide customized probe services.
Application: RGPD5 Gene-specific copy number variation probes are mainly used to detect the copy number variation related to RGPD5 genes. This product achieves the purpose of detection by hybridizing with the RGPD5 gene. Due to this design method, our probe products can detect the amplification and deletion of target genes on chromosomes through FISH.

Gene Details

Gene Name RANBP2-like And GRIP Domain Containing 5
Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] RAN is a small GTP-binding protein of the RAS superfamily that is associated with the nuclear membrane and is thought to control a variety of cellular functions through its interactions with other proteins. This gene shares a high degree of sequence identity with RANBP2, a large RAN-binding protein localized at the cytoplasmic side of the nuclear pore complex. It is believed that this RANBP2 gene family member arose from a duplication event 3 Mb distal to RANBP2. Alternative splicing has been observed for this locus and two variants are described. Additional splicing is suggested but complete sequence for further transcripts has not been determined. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Gene Symbol RGPD5
Location 2q13
Chromosome Chromosome2
Coordinates This gene maps to 113125964-113191107 in GRCh37 coordinates.
Species Human
