Catalog: CNVFP-RASGRP1-17037
Classification: Copy Number Variation
Description: Our Gene-specific Copy Number Variation Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (RASGRP1). The product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We provide CNV FISH Probes with a variety of dye color combinations to meet various challenges. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations but also provide customized probe services.
Application: RASGRP1 Gene-specific copy number variation probes are mainly used to detect the copy number variation related to RASGRP1 genes. This product achieves the purpose of detection by hybridizing with the RASGRP1 gene. Due to this design method, our probe products can detect the amplification and deletion of target genes on chromosomes through FISH.

Gene Details

Gene Name RAS Guanyl Releasing Protein 1
Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] This gene is a member of a family of genes characterized by the presence of a Ras superfamily guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) domain. It functions as a diacylglycerol (DAG)-regulated nucleotide exchange factor specifically activating Ras through the exchange of bound GDP for GTP. It activates the Erk/MAP kinase cascade and regulates T-cells and B-cells development, homeostasis and differentiation. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified. Altered expression of the different isoforms of this protein may be a cause of susceptibility to systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Gene Symbol RASGRP1
Location 15q14
Chromosome Chromosome15
Coordinates This gene maps to 38780301-38857007 in GRCh37 coordinates.
Species Human
