Catalog: CNVFP-RAD23A-17103
Classification: Copy Number Variation
Description: Our Gene-specific Copy Number Variation Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (RAD23A). The product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We provide CNV FISH Probes with a variety of dye color combinations to meet various challenges. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations but also provide customized probe services.
Application: RAD23A Gene-specific copy number variation probes are mainly used to detect the copy number variation related to RAD23A genes. This product achieves the purpose of detection by hybridizing with the RAD23A gene. Due to this design method, our probe products can detect the amplification and deletion of target genes on chromosomes through FISH.

Gene Details

Gene Name RAD23 Homolog A, Nucleotide Excision Repair Protein
Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] The protein encoded by this gene is one of two human homologs of Saccharomyces cerevisiae Rad23, a protein involved in nucleotide excision repair. Proteins in this family have a modular domain structure consisting of an ubiquitin-like domain (UbL), ubiquitin-associated domain 1 (UbA1), XPC-binding domain and UbA2. The protein encoded by this gene plays an important role in nucleotide excision repair and also in delivery of polyubiquitinated proteins to the proteasome. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Jun 2012]
Gene Symbol RAD23A
Location 19p13.13
Chromosome Chromosome19
Coordinates This gene maps to 13056653-13064455 in GRCh37 coordinates.
Species Human
