Catalog: CNVFP-RAB7A-16826
Classification: Copy Number Variation
Description: Our Gene-specific Copy Number Variation Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (RAB7A). The product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We provide CNV FISH Probes with a variety of dye color combinations to meet various challenges. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations but also provide customized probe services.
Application: RAB7A Gene-specific copy number variation probes are mainly used to detect the copy number variation related to RAB7A genes. This product achieves the purpose of detection by hybridizing with the RAB7A gene. Due to this design method, our probe products can detect the amplification and deletion of target genes on chromosomes through FISH.

Gene Details

Gene Name RAB7A, Member RAS Oncogene Family
Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] RAB family members are small, RAS-related GTP-binding proteins that are important regulators of vesicular transport. Each RAB protein targets multiple proteins that act in exocytic / endocytic pathways. This gene encodes a RAB family member that regulates vesicle traffic in the late endosomes and also from late endosomes to lysosomes. This encoded protein is also involved in the cellular vacuolation of the VacA cytotoxin of Helicobacter pylori. Mutations at highly conserved amino acid residues in this gene have caused some forms of Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) type 2 neuropathies. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Gene Symbol RAB7A
Location 3q21.3
Chromosome Chromosome3
Coordinates This gene maps to 128444978-128533641 in GRCh37 coordinates.
Species Human
