Catalog: CNVFP-PRDM12-16383
Classification: Copy Number Variation
Description: Our Gene-specific Copy Number Variation Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (PRDM12). The product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We provide CNV FISH Probes with a variety of dye color combinations to meet various challenges. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations but also provide customized probe services.
Application: PRDM12 Gene-specific copy number variation probes are mainly used to detect the copy number variation related to PRDM12 genes. This product achieves the purpose of detection by hybridizing with the PRDM12 gene. Due to this design method, our probe products can detect the amplification and deletion of target genes on chromosomes through FISH.

Gene Details

Gene Name PR/SET Domain 12
Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] This gene encodes a transcriptional regulator of sensory neuronal specification that plays a critical role in pain perception. The encoded protein contains an N-terminal PRDI-BF1 and RIZ homology (PR) domain, a SET domain, and three C-terminal C2H2 zinc finger DNA-binding domains. Naturally occurring mutations in this gene are associated with congenital insensitivity to pain (CIP), and hereditary sensory and autonomic neuropathies (HSAN's) affecting peripheral sensory and autonomic neurons. Deregulation of this gene is associated with solid cancers and hematological malignancies including chronic myeloid leukaemia. [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2017]
Gene Symbol PRDM12
Location 9q34.12
Chromosome Chromosome9
Coordinates This gene maps to 133539980-133558384 in GRCh37 coordinates.
Species Human
