Catalog: CNVFP-PPIA-16142
Classification: Copy Number Variation
Description: Our Gene-specific Copy Number Variation Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (PPIA). The product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We provide CNV FISH Probes with a variety of dye color combinations to meet various challenges. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations but also provide customized probe services.
Application: PPIA Gene-specific copy number variation probes are mainly used to detect the copy number variation related to PPIA genes. This product achieves the purpose of detection by hybridizing with the PPIA gene. Due to this design method, our probe products can detect the amplification and deletion of target genes on chromosomes through FISH.

Gene Details

Gene Name Peptidylprolyl Isomerase A
Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] This gene encodes a member of the peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase (PPIase) family. PPIases catalyze the cis-trans isomerization of proline imidic peptide bonds in oligopeptides and accelerate the folding of proteins. The encoded protein is a cyclosporin binding-protein and may play a role in cyclosporin A-mediated immunosuppression. The protein can also interact with several HIV proteins, including p55 gag, Vpr, and capsid protein, and has been shown to be necessary for the formation of infectious HIV virions. Multiple pseudogenes that map to different chromosomes have been reported. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Gene Symbol PPIA
Location 7p13
Chromosome Chromosome7
Coordinates This gene maps to 44836240-44842716 in GRCh37 coordinates.
Species Human
