Copy Number Variation |
Description: |
Our Gene-specific Copy Number Variation Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (PDPR). The product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We provide CNV FISH Probes with a variety of dye color combinations to meet various challenges. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations but also provide customized probe services. |
Application: |
PDPR Gene-specific copy number variation probes are mainly used to detect the copy number variation related to PDPR genes. This product achieves the purpose of detection by hybridizing with the PDPR gene. Due to this design method, our probe products can detect the amplification and deletion of target genes on chromosomes through FISH. |

Gene Details
Gene Name |
Pyruvate Dehydrogenase Phosphatase Regulatory Subunit |
Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] |
Pyruvate dehydrogenase complex (PDC) catalyzes the oxidative decarboxylation of pyruvate and links glycolysis to the tricarboxylic acid cycle and fatty acid synthesis. The dephosphorylation and reactivation of PDC is catalyzed by pyruvate dehydrogenase phosphatase (PDP). The dimeric PDP has a catalytic subunit and a regulatory subunit. This gene encodes the FAD-containing regulatory subunit of PDP. The encoded protein acts to decrease the sensitivity of the PDP catalytic subunit to magnesium ions. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Jan 2017] |
