Catalog: CNVFP-PDIA3-15369
Classification: Copy Number Variation
Description: Our Gene-specific Copy Number Variation Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (PDIA3). The product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We provide CNV FISH Probes with a variety of dye color combinations to meet various challenges. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations but also provide customized probe services.
Application: PDIA3 Gene-specific copy number variation probes are mainly used to detect the copy number variation related to PDIA3 genes. This product achieves the purpose of detection by hybridizing with the PDIA3 gene. Due to this design method, our probe products can detect the amplification and deletion of target genes on chromosomes through FISH.

Gene Details

Gene Name Protein Disulfide Isomerase Family A Member 3
Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] This gene encodes a protein of the endoplasmic reticulum that interacts with lectin chaperones calreticulin and calnexin to modulate folding of newly synthesized glycoproteins. The protein was once thought to be a phospholipase; however, it has been demonstrated that the protein actually has protein disulfide isomerase activity. It is thought that complexes of lectins and this protein mediate protein folding by promoting formation of disulfide bonds in their glycoprotein substrates. This protein also functions as a molecular chaperone that prevents the formation of protein aggregates. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2016]
Gene Symbol PDIA3
Location 15q15.3
Chromosome Chromosome15
Coordinates This gene maps to 44038589-44064804 in GRCh37 coordinates.
Species Human
