Catalog: CNVFP-MARCO-11099
Classification: Copy Number Variation
Description: Our Gene-specific Copy Number Variation Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (MARCO). The product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We provide CNV FISH Probes with a variety of dye color combinations to meet various challenges. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations but also provide customized probe services.
Application: MARCO Gene-specific copy number variation probes are mainly used to detect the copy number variation related to MARCO genes. This product achieves the purpose of detection by hybridizing with the MARCO gene. Due to this design method, our probe products can detect the amplification and deletion of target genes on chromosomes through FISH.

Gene Details

Gene Name Macrophage Receptor With Collagenous Structure
Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the class A scavenger receptor family and is part of the innate antimicrobial immune system. The protein may bind both Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria via an extracellular, C-terminal, scavenger receptor cysteine-rich (SRCR) domain. In addition to short cytoplasmic and transmembrane domains, there is an extracellular spacer domain and a long, extracellular collagenous domain. The protein may form a trimeric molecule by the association of the collagenous domains of three identical polypeptide chains. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Gene Symbol MARCO
Location 2q14.2
Chromosome Chromosome2
Coordinates This gene maps to 119699744-119752236 in GRCh37 coordinates.
Species Human
