Catalog: CNVFP-LAIR1-08496
Classification: Copy Number Variation
Description: Our Gene-specific Copy Number Variation Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (LAIR1). The product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We provide CNV FISH Probes with a variety of dye color combinations to meet various challenges. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations but also provide customized probe services.
Application: LAIR1 Gene-specific copy number variation probes are mainly used to detect the copy number variation related to LAIR1 genes. This product achieves the purpose of detection by hybridizing with the LAIR1 gene. Due to this design method, our probe products can detect the amplification and deletion of target genes on chromosomes through FISH.

Gene Details

Gene Name Leukocyte Associated Immunoglobulin Like Receptor 1
Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] The protein encoded by this gene is an inhibitory receptor found on peripheral mononuclear cells, including natural killer cells, T cells, and B cells. Inhibitory receptors regulate the immune response to prevent lysis of cells recognized as self. The gene is a member of both the immunoglobulin superfamily and the leukocyte-associated inhibitory receptor family. The gene maps to a region of 19q13.4 called the leukocyte receptor cluster, which contains at least 29 genes encoding leukocyte-expressed receptors of the immunoglobulin superfamily. The encoded protein has been identified as an anchor for tyrosine phosphatase SHP-1, and may induce cell death in myeloid leukemias. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Jan 2014]
Gene Symbol LAIR1
Location 19q13.42
Chromosome Chromosome19
Coordinates This gene maps to 54865234-54876721 in GRCh37 coordinates.
Species Human
