Catalog: CNVFP-KAT6A-07870
Classification: Copy Number Variation
Description: Our Gene-specific Copy Number Variation Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (KAT6A). The product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We provide CNV FISH Probes with a variety of dye color combinations to meet various challenges. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations but also provide customized probe services.
Application: KAT6A Gene-specific copy number variation probes are mainly used to detect the copy number variation related to KAT6A genes. This product achieves the purpose of detection by hybridizing with the KAT6A gene. Due to this design method, our probe products can detect the amplification and deletion of target genes on chromosomes through FISH.

Gene Details

Gene Name Lysine Acetyltransferase 6A
Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] This gene encodes a member of the MOZ, YBFR2, SAS2, TIP60 family of histone acetyltransferases. The protein is composed of a nuclear localization domain, a double C2H2 zinc finger domain that binds to acetylated histone tails, a histone acetyl-transferase domain, a glutamate/aspartate-rich region, and a serine- and methionine-rich transactivation domain. It is part of a complex that acetylates lysine-9 residues in histone 3, and in addition, it acts as a co-activator for several transcription factors. Allelic variants of this gene are associated with an autosomal dominant form of cognitive disability. Chromosomal translocations of this gene are associated with acute myeloid leukemia. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2017]
Gene Symbol KAT6A
Location 8p11.21
Chromosome Chromosome8
Coordinates This gene maps to 41786996-41909505 in GRCh37 coordinates.
