Catalog: CNVFP-ITPR2-07648
Classification: Copy Number Variation
Description: Our Gene-specific Copy Number Variation Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (ITPR2). The product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We provide CNV FISH Probes with a variety of dye color combinations to meet various challenges. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations but also provide customized probe services.
Application: ITPR2 Gene-specific copy number variation probes are mainly used to detect the copy number variation related to ITPR2 genes. This product achieves the purpose of detection by hybridizing with the ITPR2 gene. Due to this design method, our probe products can detect the amplification and deletion of target genes on chromosomes through FISH.

Gene Details

Gene Name Inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate Receptor Type 2
Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the inositol 1,4,5-triphosphate receptor family, whose members are second messenger intracellular calcium release channels. These proteins mediate a rise in cytoplasmic calcium in response to receptor activated production of inositol triphosphate. Inositol triphosphate receptor-mediated signaling is involved in many processes including cell migration, cell division, smooth muscle contraction, and neuronal signaling. This protein is a type 2 receptor that consists of a cytoplasmic amino-terminus that binds inositol triphosphate, six membrane-spanning helices that contribute to the ion pore, and a short cytoplasmic carboxy-terminus. A mutation in this gene has been associated with anhidrosis, suggesting that intracellular calcium release mediated by this protein is required for eccrine sweat production.
