Catalog: CNVFP-FENDRR-05244
Classification: Copy Number Variation
Description: Our Gene-specific Copy Number Variation Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (FENDRR). The product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We provide CNV FISH Probes with a variety of dye color combinations to meet various challenges. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations but also provide customized probe services.
Application: FENDRR Gene-specific copy number variation probes are mainly used to detect the copy number variation related to FENDRR genes. This product achieves the purpose of detection by hybridizing with the FENDRR gene. Due to this design method, our probe products can detect the amplification and deletion of target genes on chromosomes through FISH.

Gene Details

Gene Name FOXF1 Adjacent Non-coding Developmental Regulatory RNA
Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] This gene produces a spliced long non-coding RNA transcribed bidirectionally with FOXF1 on the opposite strand. A similar gene in mouse is essential for normal development of the heart and body wall. The encoded transcript is thought to act by binding to polycomb repressive complex 2 (PRC2) and/or TrxG/MLL complexes to promote the methylation of the promoters of target genes, thus reducing their expression. It has been suggested that this transcript may play a role in the progression of gastric cancer. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified. [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2015]
Gene Symbol FENDRR
Location 16q24.1
Chromosome Chromosome16
Coordinates This gene maps to 86508859-86474524 in GRCh37 coordinates.
Species Human
