Catalog: CNVFP-ENPP2-04548
Classification: Copy Number Variation
Description: Our Gene-specific Copy Number Variation Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (ENPP2). The product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We provide CNV FISH Probes with a variety of dye color combinations to meet various challenges. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations but also provide customized probe services.
Application: ENPP2 Gene-specific copy number variation probes are mainly used to detect the copy number variation related to ENPP2 genes. This product achieves the purpose of detection by hybridizing with the ENPP2 gene. Due to this design method, our probe products can detect the amplification and deletion of target genes on chromosomes through FISH.

Gene Details

Gene Name Ectonucleotide Pyrophosphatase/phosphodiesterase 2
Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] The protein encoded by this gene functions as both a phosphodiesterase, which cleaves phosphodiester bonds at the 5' end of oligonucleotides, and a phospholipase, which catalyzes production of lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) in extracellular fluids. LPA evokes growth factor-like responses including stimulation of cell proliferation and chemotaxis. This gene product stimulates the motility of tumor cells and has angiogenic properties, and its expression is upregulated in several kinds of carcinomas. The gene product is secreted and further processed to make the biologically active form. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2008]
Gene Symbol ENPP2
Location 8q24.12
Chromosome Chromosome8
Coordinates This gene maps to 120569318-120651106 in GRCh37 coordinates.
Species Human
