Catalog: CNVFP-DPM1-04052
Classification: Copy Number Variation
Description: Our Gene-specific Copy Number Variation Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (DPM1). The product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We provide CNV FISH Probes with a variety of dye color combinations to meet various challenges. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations but also provide customized probe services.
Application: DPM1 Gene-specific copy number variation probes are mainly used to detect the copy number variation related to DPM1 genes. This product achieves the purpose of detection by hybridizing with the DPM1 gene. Due to this design method, our probe products can detect the amplification and deletion of target genes on chromosomes through FISH.

Gene Details

Gene Name Dolichyl-phosphate Mannosyltransferase Subunit 1, Catalytic
Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] Dolichol-phosphate mannose (Dol-P-Man) serves as a donor of mannosyl residues on the lumenal side of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). Lack of Dol-P-Man results in defective surface expression of GPI-anchored proteins. Dol-P-Man is synthesized from GDP-mannose and dolichol-phosphate on the cytosolic side of the ER by the enzyme dolichyl-phosphate mannosyltransferase. Human DPM1 lacks a carboxy-terminal transmembrane domain and signal sequence and is regulated by DPM2. Mutations in this gene are associated with congenital disorder of glycosylation type Ie. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Nov 2015]
Gene Symbol DPM1
Location 20q13.13
Chromosome Chromosome20
Coordinates This gene maps to 49551404-49575060 in GRCh37 coordinates.
Species Human
