Catalog: CNVFP-CYP2A13-03375
Classification: Copy Number Variation
Description: Our Gene-specific Copy Number Variation Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (CYP2A13). The product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We provide CNV FISH Probes with a variety of dye color combinations to meet various challenges. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations but also provide customized probe services.
Application: CYP2A13 Gene-specific copy number variation probes are mainly used to detect the copy number variation related to CYP2A13 genes. This product achieves the purpose of detection by hybridizing with the CYP2A13 gene. Due to this design method, our probe products can detect the amplification and deletion of target genes on chromosomes through FISH.

Gene Details

Gene Name Cytochrome P450 Family 2 Subfamily A Member 13
Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] This gene encodes a member of the cytochrome P450 superfamily of enzymes. The cytochrome P450 proteins are monooxygenases which catalyze many reactions involved in drug metabolism and synthesis of cholesterol, steroids and other lipids. This protein localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum. Although its endogenous substrate has not been determined, it is known to metabolize 4-(methylnitrosamino)-1-(3-pyridyl)-1-butanone, a major nitrosamine specific to tobacco. This gene is part of a large cluster of cytochrome P450 genes from the CYP2A, CYP2B and CYP2F subfamilies on chromosome 19q. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Gene Symbol CYP2A13
Location 19q13.2
Chromosome Chromosome19
Coordinates This gene maps to 41594367-41602099 in GRCh37 coordinates.
Species Human
