Catalog: CNVFP-CDIPT-02566
Classification: Copy Number Variation
Description: Our Gene-specific Copy Number Variation Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (CDIPT). The product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We provide CNV FISH Probes with a variety of dye color combinations to meet various challenges. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations but also provide customized probe services.
Application: CDIPT Gene-specific copy number variation probes are mainly used to detect the copy number variation related to CDIPT genes. This product achieves the purpose of detection by hybridizing with the CDIPT gene. Due to this design method, our probe products can detect the amplification and deletion of target genes on chromosomes through FISH.

Gene Details

Gene Name CDP-diacylglycerol--inositol 3-phosphatidyltransferase
Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] Phosphatidylinositol breakdown products are ubiquitous second messengers that function downstream of many G protein-coupled receptors and tyrosine kinases regulating cell growth, calcium metabolism, and protein kinase C activity. Two enzymes, CDP-diacylglycerol synthase and phosphatidylinositol synthase, are involved in the biosynthesis of phosphatidylinositol. Phosphatidylinositol synthase, a member of the CDP-alcohol phosphatidyl transferase class-I family, is an integral membrane protein found on the cytoplasmic side of the endoplasmic reticulum and the Golgi apparatus. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Nov 2013]
Gene Symbol CDIPT
Location 16p11.2
Chromosome Chromosome16
Coordinates This gene maps to 29869677-29874578 in GRCh37 coordinates.
Species Human
