Catalog: CNVFP-CDC6-02276
Classification: Copy Number Variation
Description: Our Gene-specific Copy Number Variation Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (CDC6). The product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We provide CNV FISH Probes with a variety of dye color combinations to meet various challenges. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations but also provide customized probe services.
Application: CDC6 Gene-specific copy number variation probes are mainly used to detect the copy number variation related to CDC6 genes. This product achieves the purpose of detection by hybridizing with the CDC6 gene. Due to this design method, our probe products can detect the amplification and deletion of target genes on chromosomes through FISH.

Gene Details

Gene Name Cell Division Cycle 6
Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] The protein encoded by this gene is highly similar to Saccharomyces cerevisiae Cdc6, a protein essential for the initiation of DNA replication. This protein functions as a regulator at the early steps of DNA replication. It localizes in cell nucleus during cell cyle G1, but translocates to the cytoplasm at the start of S phase. The subcellular translocation of this protein during cell cyle is regulated through its phosphorylation by Cdks. Transcription of this protein was reported to be regulated in response to mitogenic signals through transcriptional control mechanism involving E2F proteins. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Gene Symbol CDC6
Location 17q21.2
Chromosome Chromosome17
Coordinates This gene maps to 38444145-38459413 in GRCh37 coordinates.
Species Human
