Catalog: CNVFP-CCL17-02146
Classification: Copy Number Variation
Description: Our Gene-specific Copy Number Variation Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (CCL17). The product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We provide CNV FISH Probes with a variety of dye color combinations to meet various challenges. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations but also provide customized probe services.
Application: CCL17 Gene-specific copy number variation probes are mainly used to detect the copy number variation related to CCL17 genes. This product achieves the purpose of detection by hybridizing with the CCL17 gene. Due to this design method, our probe products can detect the amplification and deletion of target genes on chromosomes through FISH.

Gene Details

Gene Name C-C Motif Chemokine Ligand 17
Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] This antimicrobial gene is one of several Cys-Cys (CC) cytokine genes clustered on the q arm of chromosome 16. Cytokines are a family of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The CC cytokines are proteins characterized by two adjacent cysteines. The cytokine encoded by this gene displays chemotactic activity for T lymphocytes, but not monocytes or granulocytes. The product of this gene binds to chemokine receptors CCR4 and CCR8. This chemokine plays important roles in T cell development in thymus as well as in trafficking and activation of mature T cells. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2014]
Gene Symbol CCL17
Location 16q21
Chromosome Chromosome16
Coordinates This gene maps to 57438678-57449974 in GRCh37 coordinates.
Species Human
