Catalog: CNVFP-ATP7A-01110
Classification: Copy Number Variation
Description: Our Gene-specific Copy Number Variation Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (ATP7A). The product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We provide CNV FISH Probes with a variety of dye color combinations to meet various challenges. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations but also provide customized probe services.
Application: ATP7A Gene-specific copy number variation probes are mainly used to detect the copy number variation related to ATP7A genes. This product achieves the purpose of detection by hybridizing with the ATP7A gene. Due to this design method, our probe products can detect the amplification and deletion of target genes on chromosomes through FISH.

Gene Details

Gene Name ATPase Copper Transporting Alpha
Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] This gene encodes a transmembrane protein that functions in copper transport across membranes. This protein is localized to the trans Golgi network, where it is predicted to supply copper to copper-dependent enzymes in the secretory pathway. It relocalizes to the plasma membrane under conditions of elevated extracellular copper, and functions in the efflux of copper from cells. Mutations in this gene are associated with Menkes disease, X-linked distal spinal muscular atrophy, and occipital horn syndrome. Alternatively-spliced transcript variants have been observed. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2013]
Gene Symbol ATP7A
Location Xq21.1
Chromosome ChromosomeX
Coordinates This gene maps to 77166193-77305892 in GRCh37 coordinates.
Species Human
