Catalog: CNVFP-ATP2A2-01252
Classification: Copy Number Variation
Description: Our Gene-specific Copy Number Variation Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (ATP2A2). The product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We provide CNV FISH Probes with a variety of dye color combinations to meet various challenges. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations but also provide customized probe services.
Application: ATP2A2 Gene-specific copy number variation probes are mainly used to detect the copy number variation related to ATP2A2 genes. This product achieves the purpose of detection by hybridizing with the ATP2A2 gene. Due to this design method, our probe products can detect the amplification and deletion of target genes on chromosomes through FISH.

Gene Details

Gene Name ATPase Sarcoplasmic/endoplasmic Reticulum Ca2+ Transporting 2
Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] This gene encodes one of the SERCA Ca(2+)-ATPases, which are intracellular pumps located in the sarcoplasmic or endoplasmic reticula of muscle cells. This enzyme catalyzes the hydrolysis of ATP coupled with the translocation of calcium from the cytosol into the sarcoplasmic reticulum lumen, and is involved in regulation of the contraction/relaxation cycle. Mutations in this gene cause Darier-White disease, also known as keratosis follicularis, an autosomal dominant skin disorder characterized by loss of adhesion between epidermal cells and abnormal keratinization. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2008]
Gene Symbol ATP2A2
Location 12q24.11
Chromosome Chromosome12
Coordinates This gene maps to 110719031-110788897 in GRCh37 coordinates.
Species Human
