Catalog: CNVFP-APLNR-00752
Classification: Copy Number Variation
Description: Our Gene-specific Copy Number Variation Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (APLNR). The product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We provide CNV FISH Probes with a variety of dye color combinations to meet various challenges. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations but also provide customized probe services.
Application: APLNR Gene-specific copy number variation probes are mainly used to detect the copy number variation related to APLNR genes. This product achieves the purpose of detection by hybridizing with the APLNR gene. Due to this design method, our probe products can detect the amplification and deletion of target genes on chromosomes through FISH.

Gene Details

Gene Name Apelin Receptor
Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] This gene encodes a member of the G protein-coupled receptor gene family. The encoded protein is related to the angiotensin receptor, but is actually an apelin receptor that inhibits adenylate cyclase activity and plays a counter-regulatory role against the pressure action of angiotensin II by exerting hypertensive effect. It functions in the cardiovascular and central nervous systems, in glucose metabolism, in embryonic and tumor angiogenesis and as a human immunodeficiency virus (HIV-1) coreceptor. Two transcript variants resulting from alternative splicing have been identified. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2009]
Gene Symbol APLNR
Location 11q12.1
Chromosome Chromosome11
Coordinates This gene maps to 57001051-57004927 in GRCh37 coordinates.
Species Human
