Catalog: CNVFP-ABL2-00235
Classification: Copy Number Variation
Description: Our Gene-specific Copy Number Variation Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (ABL2). The product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We provide CNV FISH Probes with a variety of dye color combinations to meet various challenges. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations but also provide customized probe services.
Application: ABL2 Gene-specific copy number variation probes are mainly used to detect the copy number variation related to ABL2 genes. This product achieves the purpose of detection by hybridizing with the ABL2 gene. Due to this design method, our probe products can detect the amplification and deletion of target genes on chromosomes through FISH.

Gene Details

Gene Name ABL Proto-oncogene 2, Non-receptor Tyrosine Kinase
Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] This gene encodes a member of the Abelson family of nonreceptor tyrosine protein kinases. The protein is highly similar to the c-abl oncogene 1 protein, including the tyrosine kinase, SH2 and SH3 domains, and it plays a role in cytoskeletal rearrangements through its C-terminal F-actin- and microtubule-binding sequences. This gene is expressed in both normal and tumor cells, and is involved in translocation with the ets variant 6 gene in leukemia. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different protein isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Nov 2009]
Gene Symbol ABL2
Location 1q25.2
Chromosome Chromosome1
Coordinates This gene maps to 179068461-179198819 in GRCh37 coordinates.
Species Human
