Catalog: GBAFP-TCTEX1D2-08225
Classification: Gene-specific Break Apart Probes
Description: Our Gene-specific Break Apart Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (TCTEX1D2). Due to this design method, our probe products can detect chromosomal rearrangements, such as translocations, by FISH.The product usually consists of a reagent combination composed of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent.
Application: TCTEX1D2 Gene-specific Break Apart Probe is designed to detect potential TCTEX1D2 rearrangements. This probe has been confirmed on the metaphase and interphase chromosomes by FISH. We provide a variety of dye color combinations for Break Apart Probes for customers to choose from. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations, but also provide customized probe services.

Gene Details

Gene Name Tctex1 Domain Containing 2
Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] Dyneins are a group of microtubule-activated ATPases that function as molecular motors. They are divided into two subgroups of axonemal and cytoplasmic dyneins. The cytoplasmic dyneins function in intracellular motility, including retrograde axonal transport, protein sorting, organelle movement, and spindle dynamics. Molecules of conventional cytoplasmic dynein are comprised of 2 heavy chain polypeptides and a number of intermediate and light chains. This gene encodes a subunit of the human cytoplasmic dynein-2 complex. Mutations in this gene are associated with short-rib thoracic dysplasia 17 with or without polydactyly. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, May 2017]
Gene Symbol TCTEX1D2
Location 3q29
Chromosome Chromosome3
Coordinates This gene maps to 196018089-196045165 in GRCh37 coordinates.
