| Catalog: | GBAFP-SPECC1L-17634 |
| Classification: | Gene-specific Break Apart Probes |
| Description: | Our Gene-specific Break Apart Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (SPECC1L). Due to this design method, our probe products can detect chromosomal rearrangements, such as translocations, by FISH.The product usually consists of a reagent combination composed of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. |
| Application: | SPECC1L Gene-specific Break Apart Probe is designed to detect potential SPECC1L rearrangements. This probe has been confirmed on the metaphase and interphase chromosomes by FISH. We provide a variety of dye color combinations for Break Apart Probes for customers to choose from. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations, but also provide customized probe services. |

| Gene Name | Sperm Antigen With Calponin Homology And Coiled-coil Domains 1 Like |
| Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] | This gene encodes a coiled-coil domain containing protein. The encoded protein may play a critical role in actin-cytoskeletal reorganization during facial morphogenesis. Mutations in this gene are a cause of oblique facial clefting-1. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene. A read-through transcript composed of SPECC1L (sperm antigen with calponin homology and coiled-coil domains 1-like) and the downstream ADORA2A (adenosine A2a receptor) gene sequence has been identified, but it is thought to be non-coding.
