| Catalog: | GBAFP-NLRP4-15139 |
| Classification: | Gene-specific Break Apart Probes |
| Description: | Our Gene-specific Break Apart Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (NLRP4). Due to this design method, our probe products can detect chromosomal rearrangements, such as translocations, by FISH.The product usually consists of a reagent combination composed of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. |
| Application: | NLRP4 Gene-specific Break Apart Probe is designed to detect potential NLRP4 rearrangements. This probe has been confirmed on the metaphase and interphase chromosomes by FISH. We provide a variety of dye color combinations for Break Apart Probes for customers to choose from. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations, but also provide customized probe services. |

| Gene Name | NLR Family Pyrin Domain Containing 4 |
| Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] | The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the nucleotide-binding and leucine-rich repeat receptor (NLR) family, and is predicted to contain an N-terminal pyrin effector domain (PYD), a centrally-located nucleotide-binding and oligomerization domain (NACHT) and C-terminal leucine-rich repeats (LRR). This gene product has a demonstrated role as a negative regulator of autophagy and type I interferon signaling pathways as a result of protein interactions with its NACHT domain. The PYD domain has also been shown to be important in the inhibition of NF-kB (nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cells). [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2016] |
