| Catalog: | GBAFP-NAPB-05318 |
| Classification: | Gene-specific Break Apart Probes |
| Description: | Our Gene-specific Break Apart Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (NAPB). Due to this design method, our probe products can detect chromosomal rearrangements, such as translocations, by FISH.The product usually consists of a reagent combination composed of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. |
| Application: | NAPB Gene-specific Break Apart Probe is designed to detect potential NAPB rearrangements. This probe has been confirmed on the metaphase and interphase chromosomes by FISH. We provide a variety of dye color combinations for Break Apart Probes for customers to choose from. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations, but also provide customized probe services. |

| Gene Name | NSF Attachment Protein Beta |
| Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] | This gene encodes a member of the soluble N-ethyl-maleimide-sensitive fusion attachment protein (SNAP) family. SNAP proteins play a critical role in the docking and fusion of vesicles to target membranes as part of the 20S NSF-SNAP-SNARE complex. This gene encodes the SNAP beta isoform which has been shown to be preferentially expressed in brain tissue. The encoded protein also interacts with the GluR2 α-amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-4-isoxazolepropionate (AMPA) receptor subunit C-terminus and may play a role as a chaperone in the molecular processing of the AMPA receptor.
