| Catalog: | GBAFP-LARP4B-03971 |
| Classification: | Gene-specific Break Apart Probes |
| Description: | Our Gene-specific Break Apart Probes usually target the flanks of the target gene (LARP4B). Due to this design method, our probe products can detect chromosomal rearrangements, such as translocations, by FISH.The product usually consists of a reagent combination composed of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. |
| Application: | LARP4B Gene-specific Break Apart Probe is designed to detect potential LARP4B rearrangements. This probe has been confirmed on the metaphase and interphase chromosomes by FISH. We provide a variety of dye color combinations for Break Apart Probes for customers to choose from. Probe products not only provide some classic color combinations, but also provide customized probe services. |

| Gene Name | La Ribonucleoprotein Domain Family Member 4B |
| Gene Summary [Provided by RefSeq] | This gene encodes a member of an evolutionarily conserved protein family implicated in RNA metabolism and translation. Members of this family are characterized by the presence of an La motif, which is often located adjacent to one or more RNA recognition motifs (RRM). Together, the two motifs constitute the functional region of the protein and enable its interaction with the RNA substrate. This protein family is divided into five sub-families: the genuine La proteins and four La-related protein (LARP) sub-families. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to LARP sub-family 4. It is a cytoplasmic protein that may play a stimulatory role in translation. [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2012] |
