Classification: |
Gene Fusion FISH Probes |
Description: |
The ZNF146-PGPEP1 Gene Fusion FISH Probecan detect the fusion of ZNF146 and PGPEP1 genes. Our product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We offer a variety of dye color combinations for FISH probes for gene fusions. This product has been verified in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads of normal peripheral blood. This is key quality control, you can trust our quality. |

Gene Details
Gene Name 1 |
Zinc Finger Protein 146 |
Gene Summary 1 |
The Zinc Finger Protein 146 (ZNF146) gene is located on chr19 :36705503-36729675 at 19q13.12. |
Chromosome 1 |
Chromosome 19 |
Locus 1 |
19q13.12 |
Coordinates 1 |
This gene maps to 36705503-36729675 in GRCh37 coordinates. |
Gene Name 2 |
Pyroglutamyl-peptidase I |
Gene Summary 2 |
The gene encodes a cysteine protease and member of the peptidase C15 family of proteins. The encoded protein cleaves amino terminal pyroglutamate residues from protein substrates including thyrotropin-releasing hormone and other neuropeptides. Expression of this gene may be downregulated in colorectal cancer, while activity of the encoded protein may be negatively correlated with cancer progression in colorectal cancer patients. Activity of the encoded protease may also be altered in other disease states including in liver cirrhosis, which is associated with reduced protease activity, and in necrozoospermia, which is associated with elevated protease activity.
