Classification: |
Gene Fusion FISH Probes |
Description: |
The TRAM1-ZFPM2 Gene Fusion FISH Probecan detect the fusion of TRAM1 and ZFPM2 genes. Our product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We offer a variety of dye color combinations for FISH probes for gene fusions. This product has been verified in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads of normal peripheral blood. This is key quality control, you can trust our quality. |

Gene Details
Gene Name 1 |
Zinc Finger Protein, FOG Family Member 2 |
Gene Summary 1 |
The zinc finger protein encoded by this gene is a widely expressed member of the FOG family of transcription factors. The family members modulate the activity of GATA family proteins, which are important regulators of hematopoiesis and cardiogenesis in mammals. It has been demonstrated that the protein can both activate and down-regulate expression of GATA-target genes, suggesting different modulation in different promoter contexts. A related mRNA suggests an alternatively spliced product but this information is not yet fully supported by the sequence. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008] |

Chromosome 8 |
Locus 1 |
8q23.1 |
Coordinates 1 |
This gene maps to 106331146-106816767 in GRCh37 coordinates. |
Gene Name 2 |
Translocation Associated Membrane Protein 1 |
Gene Summary 2 |
This gene encodes a multi-pass membrane protein that is part of the mammalian endoplasmic reticulum. The encoded protein influences glycosylation and facilitates the translocation of secretory proteins across the endoplasmic reticulum membrane by regulating which domains of the nascent polypeptide chain are visible to the cytosol during a translocational pause.
