Gene Fusion FISH Probes |
Description: |
The RNF213-IL22RA1 Gene Fusion FISH Probecan detect the fusion of RNF213 and IL22RA1 genes. Our product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We offer a variety of dye color combinations for FISH probes for gene fusions. This product has been verified in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads of normal peripheral blood. This is key quality control, you can trust our quality. |

Gene Details
Gene Name 1 |
Ring Finger Protein 213 |
Gene Summary 1 |
This gene encodes a protein containing a C3HC4-type RING finger domain, which is a specialized type of Zn-finger that binds two atoms of zinc and is thought to be involved in mediating protein-protein interactions. The protein also contains an AAA domain, which is associated with ATPase activity. This gene is a susceptibility gene for Moyamoya disease, a vascular disorder of intracranial arteries. This gene is also a translocation partner in anaplastic large cell lymphoma and inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor cases, where a t(2;17)(p23;q25) translocation has been identified with the anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) gene on chromosome 2, and a t(8;17)(q24;q25) translocation has been identified with the MYC gene on chromosome 8. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2011] |

Gene Name 2 |
Interleukin 22 Receptor Subunit Alpha 1 |
Gene Summary 2 |
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the class II cytokine receptor family, and has been shown to be a receptor for interleukin 22 (IL22). IL22 receptor is a protein complex that consists of this protein and interleukin 10 receptor, beta (IL10BR/CRFB4), a subunit also shared by the receptor complex for interleukin 10 (IL10). This gene and interleukin 28 receptor, alpha (IL28RA) form a cytokine receptor gene cluster in the chromosomal region 1p36. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008] |
