Classification: |
Gene Fusion FISH Probes |
Description: |
The RHOA-NICN1 Gene Fusion FISH Probecan detect the fusion of RHOA and NICN1 genes. Our product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We offer a variety of dye color combinations for FISH probes for gene fusions. This product has been verified in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads of normal peripheral blood. This is key quality control, you can trust our quality. |

Gene Details
Gene Name 1 |
Ras Homolog Family Member A |
Gene Summary 1 |
This gene encodes a member of the Rho family of small GTPases, which cycle between inactive GDP-bound and active GTP-bound states and function as molecular switches in signal transduction cascades. Rho proteins promote reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton and regulate cell shape, attachment, and motility. Overexpression of this gene is associated with tumor cell proliferation and metastasis. Multiple alternatively spliced variants have been identified. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2015] |
Chromosome 1 |
Chromosome 3 |
Locus 1 |
3p21.31 |
Coordinates 1 |
This gene maps to 49396578-49449526 in GRCh37 coordinates. |
Gene Name 2 |
Nicolin 1 |
Gene Summary 2 |
This protein encoded by this gene localizes to the nucleus and is expressed in numerous tissues including brain, testis, liver, and kidney. This refseq contains genomic sequence in its 3' UTR which is not supported by experimental evidence. Computer predictions indicate that this region of the 3' UTR contains hairpin-forming self-complementary sequence which is possibly excised after transcription. This gene has a pseudogene on chromosome X. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008] |
