Classification: |
Gene Fusion FISH Probes |
Description: |
The ANAPC2-EYS Gene Fusion FISH Probecan detect the fusion of ANAPC2 and EYS genes. Our product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We offer a variety of dye color combinations for FISH probes for gene fusions. This product has been verified in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads of normal peripheral blood. This is key quality control, you can trust our quality. |

Gene Details
Gene Name 1 |
Anaphase Promoting Complex Subunit 2 |
Gene Summary 1 |
A large protein complex, termed the anaphase-promoting complex (APC), or the cyclosome, promotes metaphase-anaphase transition by ubiquitinating its specific substrates such as mitotic cyclins and anaphase inhibitor, which are subsequently degraded by the 26S proteasome. Biochemical studies have shown that the vertebrate APC contains eight subunits. The composition of the APC is highly conserved in organisms from yeast to humans. The product of this gene is a component of the complex and shares sequence similarity with a recently identified family of proteins called cullins, which may also be involved in ubiquitin-mediated degradation. Chromosome 1 |
Chromosome 9 |
Locus 1 |
9q34.3 |
Coordinates 1 |
This gene maps to 140069235-140083057 in GRCh37 coordinates. |
Gene Name 2 |
Eyes Shut Homolog (Drosophila) |
Gene Summary 2 |
The product of this gene contains multiple epidermal growth factor (EGF)-like and LamG domains. The protein is expressed in the photoreceptor layer of the retina, and the gene is mutated in autosomal recessive retinitis pigmentosa. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2008] |
