Gene Fusion FISH Probes |
Description: |
The ADSL-PVALB Gene Fusion FISH Probecan detect the fusion of ADSL and PVALB genes. Our product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We offer a variety of dye color combinations for FISH probes for gene fusions. This product has been verified in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads of normal peripheral blood. This is key quality control, you can trust our quality. |

Gene Details
Gene Name 1 |
Adenylosuccinate Lyase |
Gene Summary 1 |
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the lyase 1 family. It is an essential enzyme involved in purine metabolism, and catalyzes two non-sequential reactions in the de novo purine biosynthetic pathway: the conversion of succinylaminoimidazole carboxamide ribotide (SAICAR) to aminoimidazole carboxamide ribotide (AICAR) and the conversion of adenylosuccinate (S-AMP) to adenosine monophosphate (AMP). Mutations in this gene are associated with adenylosuccinase deficiency (ADSLD), a disorder marked with psychomotor retardation, epilepsy or autistic features. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2015] |
Chromosome 1 |
Chromosome 22 |
Locus 1 |
22q13.1 |
Coordinates 1 |
This gene maps to 40742503-40762575 in GRCh37 coordinates. |
Gene Name 2 |
Parvalbumin |
Gene Summary 2 |
The protein encoded by this gene is a high affinity calcium ion-binding protein that is structurally and functionally similar to calmodulin and troponin C. The encoded protein is thought to be involved in muscle relaxation. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2015] |
