Classification: |
Gene Fusion FISH Probes |
Description: |
The KLHL24-ATP11B Gene Fusion FISH Probecan detect the fusion of KLHL24 and ATP11B genes. Our product usually consists of a combination of reagents, which consists of a probe with a selected dye color and a hybridization reagent. We offer a variety of dye color combinations for FISH probes for gene fusions. This product has been verified in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads of normal peripheral blood. This is key quality control, you can trust our quality. |

Gene Details
Gene Name 1 |
ATPase Phospholipid Transporting 11B (putative) |
Gene Summary 1 |
P-type ATPases, such as ATP11B, are phosphorylated in their intermediate state and drive uphill transport of ions across membranes. Several subfamilies of P-type ATPases have been identified. One subfamily transports heavy metal ions, such as Cu(2+) or Cd(2+). Another subfamily transports non-heavy metal ions, such as H(+), Na(+), K(+), or Ca(+). A third subfamily transports amphipaths, such as phosphatidylserine.[supplied by OMIM, Feb 2005] |

Gene Name 2 |
Kelch Like Family Member 24 |
Gene Summary 2 |
The protein encoded by this gene is a ubiquitin ligase substrate receptor and is regulated by autoubiquitination. Variations in the translation initiation codon of this gene have been found, which result in an N-terminally truncated but more stable protein due to loss of the autoubiquitination function. The more stable mutant protein causes an increased ubiquitin and degradation of keratin 14, which leads to skin fragility and the potentially life-threatening disease epidermolysis bullosa. The encoded protein is also involved in the regulation of kainate receptors. [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2017] |
